Stop Being Stopped, by Dr. Karen Lee Paquette

In my profession as a physical therapist, naturopathic doctor and life coach, I am often told of struggles, struggles of people desperately striving to look and feel their best.

They not only share their struggles, but also tell of how failing, time and time again—to practice the principles of healthy living, such as eating a nutritious diet and getting regular exercise—has left them extremely unhappy with their appearances and overall states of health.

These same people ask me how I seem to do it with such ease. I tell them, quite simply, that I use the power of passion. When passion is the driving force behind your health, it’s easy to integrate the principles of healthy living into your life.

So why do we struggle to integrate the principles of healthy living into our lives? Because we are being stopped, stopped by influences so strong that our efforts pale in comparison.

Until we become aware of the detours and roadblocks that prevent us from tapping into our own unique passion for health, I guarantee you, we will continue to struggle, find only temporary results or perhaps fail completely.

Knowledge of how easy it can be, coupled with my desire to help people ease their struggles, was the inspiration behind this book.

There are many resources that address certain aspects of a person’s health, but addressing only part of a person’s health is not enough.

When I developed this material, I searched each of the four dimensions of human health—the body, mind, heart, and spirit—to find the one key element in each that is required to tap into your passion for health.

This book shows you how to gain access to these four key elements, and when you incorporate these elements into your life, you just ooze sex appeal!

Imagine for a moment that you have found an unlimited amount of energy, an effortless sense of discipline, a tremendous power of will and, last but not least, an endless desire to nurture your health. Imagine waking up every morning with a passion so strong that you’re excited to practice the principles of healthy living. What would your life be like then?

As you turn the page, you begin a journey of self-discovery that will forever change how you view your health. You will have the opportunity to complete the Fatigue Test that provides a unique window through which you can view your health.

In addition, I have included “A Checklist for Staying on Course” to refer to as you encounter bumps on your road to looking and feeling your best.
